Rapid Prototyping

Great for: When you have a known challenge and need a prototype of the solution to test with your users or share with investors.

Final sprint deliverable: Clickable prototype

Approach may include:

  • Vision + Ideation Workshop(s): Discuss product vision, intended audience, prototype goals and ideate on potential solutions. 
  • Concept Development: ZoCo will continue to ideate independently, developing two to five low-fidelity concepts options which may include sketches, wireframes, user flows and/or prototypes. 
  • Concept Selection: ZoCo will present the concepts and facilitate discussion on which has the highest potential, noting any feedback.
  • Refinement + Clickable Prototype Handoff: ZoCo will refine the design for the selected concept, creating a clickable prototype that can be used to showcase the intended product experience.

Length: 2-3 weeks

Price: $15,000-$25,000

Qualitative User Research

Great for: When you need feedback from prospective users or customers to understand a problem space, industry challenge, or market trend to identify opportunities. Provides justification for investment in further time and expense.

Final sprint deliverable: Lo-fidelity research report with actionable insights

Approach may include:

  • Research Roadmapping Workshop(s): Activities to understand the challenge, ideal research participants, and prioritize research objectives.
  • Recruitment: ZoCo can support recruitment of prospective users if needed.
  • User Interviews: ZoCo will facilitate up to six 30 minute qualitative interviews.
  • Lightning Distillation + Analysis: Rapid review of interview transcripts to surface key themes and directly answer research objectives. 
  • Insights Share Out: Actionable learnings from research to inform next steps and decisions.

Length: 2-3 weeks

Price: $20,000-$30,000

Ideation & Facilitation

Great for: A business strategy change that is being discussed by many stakeholders, where alignment and clarity on next steps is needed in order to de-risk a decision or investment.

Final sprint deliverable: Executive summary with prioritized recommendations

Approach may include:

  • Stakeholder Interviews: Interviews with product, technical, sales, and business leaders to build context.
  • Defining the Challenge Workshop(s): Activities to understand the challenge, define success criteria, and prioritize which challenges should be solved first.
  • Synthesis + De-Risking Workshop(s): Activities to determine priority questions that still need to be answered so that clear next steps can be identified, SWOT analysis, group alignment on go or no go on further investment.

Length: 1-2 weeks

Price: $10,000-$15,000

Visual Evolution + New Assets

Great for: A startup needing a light-weight brand or visual system refresh for your product. 

Final sprint deliverable: Lite brand guidelines or asset creation such as sales enablement tools, pitch decks, marketing collateral, or product reskin.

Approach may include:

  • Vision Workshop(s): Discuss product vision, assumptive journey mapping,  problem to be solved, and aspirational target audience. 
  • Concept Development: ZoCo will continue to ideate independently, developing two to five low-fidelity concept options to select from. 
  • Concept Refinement + Application: After one concept is chosen, ZoCo will further refine based on feedback within the asset(s) of choice

Length: 1-2 weeks

Price: $5,000-$15,000

Quantitative Usability Study

Great for: Testing a product feature or experience to establish if users can accomplish desired tasks and determine the ROI of potential UX work before investing

Final sprint deliverable: Lo-fidelity quantitative results report

Approach may include:

  • Product Demo: Client will demonstrate a key product experience/feature to ZoCo in order to understand the challenge, define key tasks to measure, and ideal research participants.
  • Recruitment: ZoCo can support recruitment of prospective users if needed.
  • Unmoderated Research: ZoCo will facilitate unmoderated research with up to 15 participants.
  • Statistical Analysis: Rapid analysis of study results.
  • Insights Share Out: Share out of results including baseline metrics of existing experience (Examples: SUS score, usability, confidence, value, etc.) and next steps for improvement.

Length: 2-4 weeks
